Inactivity Policy

Last Update: April 2026

This policy explains how we handle dormant accounts, reserved identifiers, and account recovery requests.

Dormant account review

Accounts that show no sign-in, billing, API, support, or integration activity for an extended period may be reviewed for security and operational cleanup. We may suspend credentials, disable unused API keys, or ask the account owner to confirm continued use before removing data.

We do not transfer account ownership based only on inactivity. Requests are reviewed with security, privacy, billing, and trademark context in mind.

Reserved names and squatting

Account names, organization names, API labels, and similar identifiers may not be held for resale, impersonation, abuse, or brand confusion. We may rename, reserve, or remove identifiers that violate this policy.

Attempts to sell, buy, or solicit payment in exchange for identifiers are prohibited and may result in account suspension.

What if a potentially inactive account is using my trademark?

If you believe your trademark rights are being infringed and the account seems inactive, please see our trademark policy for additional information. If an identifier you would like to use is already taken, consider selecting an available variation. Requests for inactive identifiers can be made using our contact form. We may decline requests when the current account has private activity, unresolved billing, security concerns, or a valid reason to keep the identifier.
